Useful to know that. Beru plugs seem to work best with PSA engines.

Well, a result, and a lesson, as you say.
Too late to throw the fakes back, I suppose. There is an Ebay guarantee, after all. Is the ad still there?
Glad you got everything running. Beru are first class, and do work well for PSA diesels.

Re: A non-starting XUD9
Just googled this a bit further, John.
Not BERLi, but Berlt . . . see Berlt.co.uk for their stuff.
If I was really suspicious, I'd say that name and mark was a deliberate attempt to pass off and confuse.
Even the horizontal stroke of the T has been chosen to recede when seen quickly.
Items ludicrously cheap, and aimed at maximising their sellers' margins (it says so).
I would be referring them to Trading Standards.
Items still on Ebay.

Carparts4less do beru ones, think they had a money off weekend and i got 4 for £18 or so. No issues since, did all 4 which was a pain on the turboD!myglaren wrote:Useful to know that. Beru plugs seem to work best with PSA engines.
I bought cheap for the 206 and i think they lasted a month or 3. For the labour involved it pays to get decent ones.
