Nip up to Jim's with an egg for him and you can take one. That's unless he hasn't ate them all yet! Or, if Jim photos a smokie, then photoshop a poached egg on it [emoji1] [emoji1]

I last saw the activa yesterday afternoon being loaded onto a recovery truck starting it's journey to Jim's. The driver who picked it up was only going to take it to Dundee. All I know after that is that it will arrive at citro towers within 48 hrs. I won't rest easy until I know it has arrived.

No thanks. I've seen enough smelly fish in my lifetime! It's on its proper wheels, just so it doesn't annoy you chaps [emoji1] No opening the left rear door allowed. The central locking doesn't work on that door for a reason [emoji13] [emoji23]

Davie ... what story did you spin to get it on its way? I thought you needed to travel with it under their t&cs?

I was travelling to Luton airport to go on holidays. I have a brother in law who lives not far from Luton, and I was taking the car down there for him to fix the already broken handbrake and service it while I am away. If I had to wait for recovery then travel in a lorry with my car I would miss my plane from Luton so I have been online and booked an easyjet from Aberdeen to Luton at 2030 tonight which gets me there in time, so could you take the car down there so my brother in law can do the handbrake, service and he will fix the clutch for me while I'm away. I know nothing about cars and my BIL is a mechanic and does all my work to me.
He is an akward baxxxxd moving to Newport Pagnell last year. My sister doesn't like it there really. She would rather be in the quiet Orkney Islands.

I wouldnt have mentioned any faults already on the car though, real or otherwise, as that may have been used as a getout clause ... 'car not roadworthy' and all that. Alls well that ends well as they say ...

The reason the left rear door does not centrally lock is probably due to wiring failure in the concertina grommet. I had this happen on Gracie, and a bit of time and care with a soldering iron sorted the problem out. About an hours' work, and I extended the wires by about 6 inches (to allow for the flexing).

Ever thought of becoming an author Davie? If you can spin a yarn like that you could be a best-seller

That is inspired... =D> =D>

How am I going to cover the fact I have been here for such a short while though? It's obvious to anybody I've lived here for donkeys
