I used to have mechanical breakdown repair insurance with them too, but that was for 1 named car and it had to have a full service history, at a vat registered garage, which no car of mine had so I cancelled it. How much is it with green flag?
I don't know how much it is because I get it as a freebie with my Natwest bank account :) The account fee is £12 per month but I get Green Flag, worldwide travel insurance, mobile phone insurance for 3 phones and some other bits and pieces that I can't recall.

I had been an AA member for years until I switched banks!

All i can get is a basic current account. It comes with the territory having been on benefits for over 3 years and behind on a big loan.

It was another thing that used to wind me up, now i dont care. If i need stuff and have money i can buy it, no money i cant. The 107 is actually my sons. I hire it from him and in a couple of years it will be mine.

This is how we do it too Davie. We owe pretty much nothing to anyone. I pay for everything, nothing on tick. If we can afford it, we don't have it.

I'm totally debt-free too which is why I can afford to work three days a week from August :D

I have been in severe debt in the past and will never, ever go there again...

I was saying what I have! Got new smart meters, connected to my smart phone. I get a txt when down to two days credit at curret usage, top it up via the phone app. Easy, can't run up more than £10 debt.

Just my private pension, no work related stress and no spiralling debt. As long as i can get down to the seafront for a spot of fishing i'm a happy man. Worked so far for the eight years i've been 'outed' by my ex- employer (HP).
Their loss, my gain
