It is not allowed to drill through the license plate, some road safety law in effect here

Have not done any height measureing yet.. but was in car yesterday as passenger, with laptop. One thing for sure.. all of my drive to work is classed as 'poor road' which suprises me a bit..

If that is the case ..I can see the comfort and handling could be compromised a bit..?
