I checked my car this afternoon and on the RH (driver's) side only the front glass is laminated. The rear is definitely not and, I would suppose, neither is the fixed back light.
Mine is, same coding on the front as the rears. Acoustic and laminated with the ear symbol on all 4 Windows. Interestingly though - on the Citroen website, they are now saying this is only available on the C5 Tourer and the C4 Picasso and C4 Grand Picasso! So another change.

I think we can safely say it's a minefield  Get the basic model and engine you want and then search on the option key words!

Just had a quick look at my C5. I do indeed have a button on the rear-view mirror. In my defence, I've only had the car for 3 years and 8 months so I can't be expected to have found all the stuff yet.
Only what I assume is the external temperature sensor on the drivers side "wing" (see how old I am) mirror. No buttons.
Front and all four side windows are marked accoustic but not the rear.
I must try the rear view mirror with the on/off button sometime when it is dark o'clock.

Yipee - Result!! :rofl2:
No buttons on the external wing mirrors! The nipple there is the outside temp sensor. Easy to get confused with all the variations!!

@ Rick - If you haven't noticed that you have the button on the inner mirror, than I don't believe you've noticed that the mirror will auto un-dim (if dimmed) when you put the car in reverse? ... :D

Tried that but it's very bright and sunny here and I have white garage doors behind the car. I couldn't tell the difference!
I'm assuming that the auto-dim function is selected when the button is in the "in" position?

@ Rick - Try it at night ... if possible, have a light source behind you ... you'll definitely notice the difference with the AUTO button on or off ... as well as when you place the car in reverse ... if the dimming is active, and working (in case you don't have a malfunction of some kind) ... it might be possible in broad daylight, if you could turn the back of the car towards the sun, sou you get its reflection in the inner mirror ...

Here! GiveMeABreak, give me a break! I've done my foot in and hobbling around ain't no fun. Now I have to go back outside and look for a green LED?

OK, I've hobbled out to the drive incurring great pain in the process. The mirror had a recessed green light at left centre, the word auto at centre and another light at right centre. The right centre light is not illuminated so now I expect someone is going to tell me what it's for. This will mean another trip into the outside world to check it. The neighbours curtains are already twitching as they keep tabs on the strange man with temporary walking stick, who keeps hurtling (slowly) from his front door, jumping into his car, fiddling about for a minute or so, then hobbling back indoors.
Vborovic, I'll try the set up at night, but if this is a wind up, I warn you, I will vote "out" in June.

Entertainment value for today!! I feel the need for a couple of pics to save the extra wear on you walking stick - that is if all the grey cells are working in the memory department!

The right side "light" isn't a light, but a light/photo sensor, which detects light coming from the back of the car towards the mirror (usually, the car behind youy), and then it compares that with the forward light source (the bigger hole on the backside of the mirror) and acts accordingly (to dim or not to dim - if the AUTO button is tuned on - pushed inside - the green LED glowing) ...

All now clear as a bell. Everything as it should be. Still have to try it in the dark.
Pictures taken by shaky man with old camera, as opposed to old man with shaky camera, while leaning on stick ( the man, not the camera.)

Two of mirror, one of full leather (in case you don't have it and I can gloat), One of Sat Nav (ditto) and one of white garage doors so you know I'm not lying!
