Many thanks Jim, i did have some sucess using the diagnostic a couple of weeks ago that came with lexia software.. in that it eventually talked to car and told me the crank sensor was duff.. will see if I can read car over weekend

Had not used it before..was it diagbox or pp ..I can't remember :shock:

The little 206 is fine. Not sure what problem I uncovered that evening but it hasn't come back.. :)
Clutch feels nice .. will check that rear engine mount at the weekend. Thanks for all help with this.
