Got a flat tire today (rear right) on my daily car 1.9TD... I thought that the noise is coming from the engine :roll:

Touch wood, and not wanting to tempt fate but it's been a long time now since I've had a puncture. Last one was in a Xantia V6 due to spilt nails after repairs to a gate I passed through!

Same here. Used to get them weekly through screws chucked around at work but haven't had a puncture in about eight years now, since they changed the skip arrangements.

Indeed, driving near skips is always risky. I always worry when I visit the local tip for that very reason...
