the middle one looks almost alien!

thanks for the links VB but i dont think they would be upto the pressure im looking for as they all look to be low power units mainly for transfer of fluid between drums or such like :)

Whatever you use, a rough calculation suggests that it will draw about 20A at 12V, so you'll need fairly hefty cable to minimise volt drop.

That's the way to tell them KP. I hope it works as well for you as my one did when I built it last year. I did have a little trouble with clumping in the agglomeration but I overcame that. Your plan probably bypasses that stage. Good luck.

The pump and tank attached will be the highest part in the system so I'm hoping I can easily bleed it just through pumping it for a little bit and then leaving it a day or two and then same again over the course of a week or two :)
