It is outside the sports hall. Don't know why as I have no time for sports at all.
Lens is not as long as it might seem, a 70~220mm zoom.
Superb lens, one of the best I have used, including Zeiss optics for Hasselblad cameras.

Is that one of those things that looks harmless enough but ends up tasting like salted liquorice ? :puke:
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

Never tempted to try it, or surströmming but apparently very bland.

Some may have noticed a reduction in my posting for the last few days which was brought about by an event occurring outside my control. It turns out all my friends and family have been conspiring for weeks to arrange yesterday's get together in Elstree to which I was lured and I arrived to discover this to greet me: :-D
Own work
Own work
and I have to say SWMBO's friend absolutely nailed it with the cake she made. I can verify it tasted every bit as good as it looked (it was entirely edible, the design being done in icing): :-D
Own work

Needless to say there are plenty more pictures which I won't bore anybody with but it was a cracking day and I even got a timeout to watch yesterday's qualifying. Having just watched today's brilliant race I'm going to have a celebratory beer!! Please join me for one of whatever you have!! :-D

I bought that one I listed from ebay and it arrived yesterday while I was out.

It clearly states it works with Windows XP SP2+, Vista and Windows 7. Typical I have just given my XP laptop away!! However I thought I'd try it on my Windows 10 laptop and guess what? It works just fine. As a test I asked SWMBO if she had any negatives around as mine are all in the loft or down at my storage unit and she produced a strip of 30+ year old negatives which I immediately loaded and ran through the process. Dead easy to do, put film into holder slide holder into scanner, run software provided and when the image appears press copy and its done, then save where you want, push slider through another frame and repeat. Brilliant although the colour may be a bit dubious due to age at least I can set about digitising all my old photos!! Here are three of the images I copied as a test:

Always a lot of badge engineering in the photo industry. Along with many others of course.
