Re: Picture(s) of the day....
That is a VERY good book to learn how to repair PCs. I have had numerous editions over the years, and I have considered it to always be worth the cost..

Yes, I am paranoid, but am I paranoid ENOUGH?

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
SAAB Convertibles have made their way many times into the "Open Top Motoring" Thread.
There were a couple next to each other, but silver ones rarely get the click of my shutter. I liked the look of this one...
Regards Neil

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
My selection for my Picture of the Day arises from one of those random rewards which make acitivity on the FCF a little bit addictive. I do many times encourage others not to think about it but just participate, and there are an immense number of easy threads to join in with. Just do it!
My random reward today was generated by Mick's post here on the "Today's County in the Spotlight Thread" and yes today its on "Somerset", and even if no one else decides to contribute, I intend to fill it with some posts leading on from this.
My Dad and Mum nearly always arranged their holidays where they could go and watch some first class County Cricket and Taunton was one of their favourite locations, as per Mick's post some of the giants of the game could be seen down there. My Dad used to take hundreds of photographs of the subjects he liked, and we now have a store of his non-digital photos in no order at all in a large storage box.
So finding some pics of Cricket at Taunton could have involved a fair old search, but within a few packets of photo's I came up with the goods. An example or two will get lobbed up on the "Todays County in the Spotlight" thread including the front side of this, together with a "who was taking strike" micro quiz.
Regards Neil

Before March ends, bring me an original picture of frogspawn.
Last year last day of March on this very thread the birthplace of Lancelot Capability Brown provided POTD's springwatch first frogspawn. viewtopic.php?p=680724&hilit=frogspawn#p680724

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Using the zoom seems to scramble the focusing. As above.
dd tap the daffs to get t to focus there.
It also changes mode and will start videoing for no good reason, also the macro mode is hopeless, as is the low light mode.

Flowers despite the snow.
They have been there all the time but are flourishing now.
Need to get rid of that London Pride.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
This is my car parked in front of a house that costs about the same as the car
It made me wonder how one of the cheapest houses in Romania wold look like and I got my answer. I would have bought it if it was closer to my current home.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
SWMBO has been having a little memory difficulty lately, going out without her phone. I tried various ways to help her with little success until I hit upon this simple reminder. The one on the left was not much good by itself as she still went out phoneless but remembering her attraction to Clint Eastwood I added the right hand one and she hasn't left it at home since!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Rubbish Picture(s) of the day....
Been to son's house and saw this on my way home.
Needs to be zoomed in a lot and the picture quality is poor, getting dark is my excuse.
Loads of magpies.
