That 'Dutch king' photo looks damned dangerous to me, kids look as though they could easily plant their faces on the road.

Well if you follow the Electric Cars Adverts thread you will have seen heard the collaboration between BMW and Coldplay for their latest 2021 advertising campaign for the iX and the i4. Full advert here and the answer to the throwaway question posed
for the curious...
anyone know where the bridge which appears in several scenes in the video is :?:
Is this

The even more curious will be able to pinpoint it and name it.

You have certainly provided some entertainment here Derek but as in Glen Frey and Don Felder's most famous song.

With an au revoir from Derek, a bit of plate stepping up would be nice.

In the meantime here's a July 12th rabbit. Crikey its bred already!

That looks like you've been reading where I've been today!! That looks very much like the Radar scanner at Bushey Hill just up the road from The Bell in Main Street where we bought the car today!! :-D

Done and dusted, well done Mick. I like unusual names and your South Woodham Ferrers was one, so had to go wiki-ing and geograph-ing!

We had an almighty downpour that was close to denting the car roof yesterday so I thought a quick stroll round the garden was called for to inspect the damage. Not as bad as it might have been and my first dahlia bloom this year survived but looking a little bedraggled:
A waterlogged bloom, but the first this year!!

Moving on I was delighted to find this little gem looking decidedly perky after the experience:
A celosia fighting off the cold rain!

It doesn't seem to have done the clematis any harm:
The clematis may have lost some colour!!

And the wishing well and patio pots seem to have weathered the storm:
Carnations under the well roof

The patio pots struggle on!

My clematis survived but everything else is rather bedraggled. Mostly poppies flattened.
