Hi,

A recent walk was met with this friendly dog who was very pleased with himself that he had the biggest stick in the park by far!

And then he tries going through a narrow gate, and wonders WHY he can't! Half an hour later he still is trying to get it through that gate (bemused but happy).

We had two shepherds that did that, the mother was very bright and she would turn the stick round lengthways to get through a gate, her daughter was as thick as two short planks and insisted on trying to force it through the gateway.

We had a similar issue with our rough collie, our garden gate was about 9" higher than him so he developed the habit of jumping through the gate so his stick passed over the top of the gate posts. All was fine until we replaced the fence and gate with a low, but higher, wall and just an opening at the end of the path (I got fed up with the gate swinging on me as I tried to get the bike through). I think he spent at least a week crashing into the wall before he decided to go through with his head to one side!! :-D

I did do a long 3 pic post and write up that took me ages, pressed preview and then for some idiotic reason closed my browser, doh! I will redo it again later so in the mean time a quick one I snapped of 2 C2's from my bedroom window.

The grey Code is mine (the roof stripes are standard for those that might have thought I put them there!) and the wonderful black VTS HDi is the daily of my local mechanic, who's shop backs onto my carpark, so very local and very handy as you can imagine. The curious cat (can you spot him?) belongs to my neighbour, a very friendly ginger tom. The cat, not the neighbour that is.

It is probably an awkward nut to access, as the spanner is hinged at the 'ring' end, and may also be a ratchet ring.

I wouldn't like it anywhere near my ring. It looks vicious to me.
