Anyone who thinks a personal flying vehicle will look like a car is in for a disappointment.

Just imagine when the boy racers and the thieving toe-rags get hold of those, the police interceptors will need an upgrade.NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 08:33 Anyone who thinks a personal flying vehicle will look like a car is in for a disappointment.

Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Think the aviation regulator may (hopefully ) have a few things to say.Just imagine when the boy racers and the thieving toe-rags get hold of those, the police interceptors will need an upgrade.
Would think it's a non starter over here; problems enough with the lunatic fringe and current toys. Always one, and it only takes one
Police interceptors may have to take the form of "flack",

I grabbed a chance to see a different county's countryside today:

I stopped for lunch today at a country pub and found myself looking at this unusual tree:

Not exactly a Picture Of The Day although I did rediscover it today, consolidating a load of backups and looking for things completely unrelated.
Mick's unusual tree reminded me of this:

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
My trusty point and shoot camera has started misbehaving. Sony Cybershot 20.1 megapixels. Here are two sucessive pics, and by the end of the day it had to be abandoned. It consistently produced images akin to number 1.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Could it be the batter Mick?
Both mine behave rather unpredictably when the battery is depleted, fail to focus is the first casualty.
I lost my Pentax but found my wife's Fuji - not actually lost, just languishing in a drawer for a few years.
Almost as good as my first Fuji. I didn't realise it was so good until it was gone.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
It would be nice if it was Steve, all indications are that it is fully charged, but I have had the camera for a number of years, and take a lot of pics so it might be.

Indeed, and I meant battery too. Unless it is in Scotland and has been deep fried like they do everything else.
