I love how the Mini bonnet opens :D Shades of the Triumph Herald and Spitfire amongst others...

Well done on rebuilding the pump Mick :)

One from my bike ride yesterday... A bench seat being decorated by a pair of local artists :)

Yes it certainly makes for great access, in fact it is better than the Herald because once open you can work from 3 sides instead of 2 !! :-D

Just got back from a trip to Peterborough to install a new radio in my friends Honda HRV. Due to Honda's obsession with security back then, I had to remove the front centre trim panel to unscrew and remove the radio cradle which was then transferred to the new unit and bolted back into the car before refitting the trim and then having to test all the climate control which was disconnected during the job. So much for slip out the old one and slip in the new!! :-D

On the jouney home I had an enforced stop in a layby and actually realised what the old saying means: I couldn't see the woods for ............

I see the sea!

From my morning run today :)

I like the black and white kerbing here and a striking tree just coming into leaf...

Spot the Xsara hiding in plain sight too!

I see the sea!

I see the Isle of Wight ! :)

As you cross the bridge onto Hayling Island, if you look to the right you can see the remnants of the old bridge that carried the Hayling Billy train onto the island. It was closed in the early 60s as the swing bridge was going to need replacing and British Railways had a strong allergic reaction to how much it was going to cost. :(
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

I've crashed through the 6100th post without a celebratory car which just won't do so here is one of the few supercars that I liked and one of the very few cars I could find with a 6100cc engine:

The detail about this limited edition car can be read here.

Nice plate... That's a grotesque and revolting picture on the spare wheel cover
