Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I have just noticed no response from the FCF gardening specialists on the white flower which preceded Sweet Caroline so I'll chip in my suggestion:
I believe that to be a Bosanemoon (Anemone nemorosa)?

I use the site identify plantnet and it does comes up with Anemone nemorosa like you say, common name Wood Anenome. Not in a wood but quite a display by the side of the road. Take a flower photo from an URL or add a photo from your laptop/phone etc and it comes up with a few suggestions and a percentage likelihood.

Mitsuoka do strange things with ordinary Japanese cars like the Nissan Micra, the Nissan Sunny and this could well have Mazda Underpinnings. Very probably well engineered, but quite odd.

Missed opportunity for snow pics this morning.

Blue skies here - best it has been all day.
Speaking of flying stuff, I spotted this earlier:
Sea foam flying about all over the place.
Looks like the pier is closed now.

There are two of them, identical in looks, and both seem quite agile climbers, that photo is my neighbours apple tree but they do the same in my flowering cherry out front, just haven't been quick enough with the camera before.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Had intended to get some work done on the BX today...Then the weather happened.
Which however did give me the opportunity a few hours later to get a couple of shots of the snow-covered trees lit from underneath by the streetlights.
This camera still breaks my brain every now and again - that sky was pitch black as far as my eyes were concerned.

Haven't had any of that down here, lovely warm sunshine during the day, very cold at night though.

Peter you shopuld be in position A to get this, not a fiendish teaser click on the image ane it will go to geograph and you will see the answer. Same location appeared on Windows 10 welcome page this morning. I knew roughly where it was but expected to see an arch and wondered if it had fallen into the sea like at Marsden Rock up here . As I found out different cove.
