Now if you had not taken that picture of the Aston Showroom in Paggers very early this morning, I wouldn't have enjoyed all the entertainment of finding out about that car and splattering it over a few threads. Not finished yet. I know the setting is not the Durham Moors, but like I say very similar, big skies, and heather and bleached grasses, and empty roads that stretch for miles. Taken that trivia over to the Trivia Investigation Team.

The moon illuminating an old Band I/III TV aerial array this morning in Paggers :D A real survivor considering VHF 405 line TV ended in 1985!

I grabbed this shot during my run on a gorgeous, albeit frosty, morning...

Later in the run I watched the sun rise...

Yes the moon was very bright last night
The February full moon, known as the Snow Moon or Hunger Moon, always shines in or near the stars of Leo. Since it's opposite the sun on this day of the lunar month, the moon is fully illuminated, and rises at sunset and sets at sunrise. When full, no shadows are cast by the lunar terrain — so all of the albedo variations are produced by the moon's geology.
The curious will look up what an "albedo variation" is I haven't a clue :-D

Neil, I zoomed in on your picture to examine the honey bee and found the interesting striped thing just above it. Is it an odd leaf or petal, a seed pod, an expired flower or what? Anyone know?

Time for another milestone celebratory car. I had trouble finding an interesting 5700cc car but kept looking until I came across this "marmite" option:

Seemed worth sharing here...car cabin photos after dark always seem to get a good reception, and this one would be a shame not to share.
