Two e-scooters seen neatly parked for once :D They are usually just abandoned
scooters.jpg
The e-scooter trial is still ongoing in MK and this photo shows one from each of the two companies participating...

I've noted they are getting more and more popular judging by the number of carelessly abandoned ones I have to take care to avoid when on my morning runs...

I now see paper boys using them for deliveries... Back when the pubs were open they were well used for transport home

Peugeot did a bit of a promotion a few years ago where you could buy a Peugeot 3008, and get a fold up Peugeot e-kick scooter, with its own docking station in the boot.
NewcastleFalcon wrote: 04 Feb 2017, 13:09 Well not quite appropriate for "Tartan travel rugs and other nostalgic motoring accessories" seeing as its bang up to date....but buy a new Peugeot 3008, and you may well be able to negotiate getting a Peugeot e-kick electric scooter thrown in.

But then it wouldn't be a start would it? It would be a waypoint! :-D

Not necessarily Mick ;) I often run to the start of a running event, run it and then at the end of it run back home again :D

That's turned some 10K events into a good half marathon!

Most of the MK events are either based at either Willen lake or Campbell Park and thus an easy run from Paggers...

Saves on car parking charges too 8-)

True :) I could just abandon it

But you have to pay to hire the scooter and they're not exactly cheap...

I didn't realise you had to pay for them, thought perhaps they were free like bicycles. The crocuses, croci? look lovely, I haven't seen any down here yet.

I was not at all sure of the plural of crocus Peter. A bit of research suggests crocuses or corci are equally right!
