Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I bought one for my daughter in Maryland, she has a bungalow in three acres of woodland, all sorts of beasties around.
Had a chuckle when she told me she had quite a few photos of the rear half of deer, they were in and out of shot too quick to get the whole thing.

Just a note for budding photographers, I just happened to put "Digital SLR" into an ebay search and I was amazed at how much good kit can be bought for, now everyone is using their phones. Have a look if you fancy a camera : https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... r&_sacat=0

Gosh it's cold and treacherously icy here in Paggers this morning
The wind was cutting like an icy knife...
So just a very short and cautious run....
The light dusting of very dry powdery snow looked pretty... The snow was more like ice crystals - something akin to the interior of a freezer in need of a defrost!

"Fore!". "Nope, seven". "Seven?". "Yes, seven balls I have lost on this round!".

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I see them all the time on the streets! Wondered what they were also didn't realise how dangerous they are https://blog.creamchargers.co.uk/the-da ... de-misuse/CitroJim wrote: ↑16 Oct 2020, 17:49Nitrous Oxide canisters interned for cream foaming machines but repurposed by the yoof of today to get a legal high...
I see loads of them on my morning runs...
We cyclists were once held to blame as they look similar to the 16g CO2 canisters we use for tyre inflation... The key difference is that ours have a threaded boss on the neck whereas the NO2 canisters have no thread.
And, there is no way we'd ever leave them to litter after use of use so many in one session... One 16g canister will happily inflate one bike tyre to 100psi... If you need two you are in serious trouble!

from me too Sammy. You have already found the Off Topic Chat Lounge which is a great part of the forum but not everybody sees it, so post a 'Hello' on the introductions threads here to make sure you are announced properly!!

I took it again for MOT a couple of weeks ago and there were thousands of them in the car park, a couple of hundred yards from the location above and there were no bins there, all just strewn on the ground.
