My walk this morning. Not exactly Westeros or a Weirwood tree, but peace and quiet.

Very small-scale Marc. There is some frost around but very little ice.
Lowest temperature has been -1.7°C.

The yellow flowered thing is a Gorse. It's difficult trying to recognise those trees from quite a long way away, but I reckon they might be : No.1 The Larch. .......The Larch.

No clicks of the camera shutter today so here's last years effort on todays date. I would say that snowdrops in Northumberland are pretty much at the same stage of development this year as they were last. :-D

Just been flicking back to POTD on 02 February in past years

There was an interesting series of posts in 2018 kicking of with some fascinating facts on Scammell and this Gibbo special. Do you know the Watford connection with Scammell Mick :?:

Only too well Neil from 4 different angles: my next door neighbour in the 60's worked for them; sometimes I went to school on my bike and I often rode down Tolpits Lane past the factory to see if any of the monster trucks were about as they fascinated me; when I started work with the GPO my initial time on the vans took me to the factory to install a plan 107 in the transport manager's office, and finally when they demolished the factory and built the offices for Camelot, my son worked there for a couple of years as a data analyst!! So yes, you could say I know all about Scammell in Watford :-D

Turns out it was more appropriate than I knew to dig out some old February 2nd images from the POTD archives yesterday, because February 2nd is of course
