Going back to tanks briefly, the Swedish S tank had suspension that also elevated the fixed gun and was traversed with the tracks:

With the sad news that Kraftwerk co-founder Florian Schneider has died, here's a picture of Kraftwerk from a couple of years ago (sans Florian).

Well Kraftwerk have performed at the Pickled Egg on a number of occasions, at your own invitation Bobins, and also at mine! So a glass or 2 will be raised in tribute.

I find myself posting my 1900th post and it only seems a few days ago that I was researching 1800!!. So 1900 for me is clear and obvious as I was lucky enough to own an identical one to this (except of course the steering wheel was on the right side! :-D ) back in the 90's and I thoroughly enjoyed it, so here it is:

I will be starting a new thread at midnight tonight with a specific target to achieve in 24 hours to celebrate 75th anniversary of VE day tomorrow. I propose that we rename the FCF as the Fantastic Celebratory Forum for 24 hours to properly celebrate that joyous day in 1945, 75 years ago tomorrow. It will need as many people to contribute as possible to achieve the target of 75 relevant posts by midnight tomorrow night. So please join in with that and help the FCF celebrate properly!! :) :) :) :)
