Quite right about being a bit late. Confined to my quarters with just the phone and it's too fiddly to go searching, but if it's still unsolved in the morning I'll give it a go!!

I would guess at control panel and heater with UV filtration for a swimming pool, large fish pond for koi carp or similar?

No but you are getting warm - but the water isn't. Being home made doesn't help does it.

Well Peter, clearly you are pumping water through a UV filter at a fair volume, so UV usually used to kill algae in outside water features, large volume usually needed for continuous flow systems so I'll go for a garden waterfall and maybe fish pond combined?

Water treatment plant, killing the bugs with UV.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
The red star goes to 'Gibbo' its actually our domestic water supply. We bought the field next to us some years ago partly because it had a well, there is no mains water here its to high. About 8 years ago a friend of mine who knows all about country crafts, and myself cleared out the derelict well - about half a ton of rubbish and debris, and refurbished it. The unit shown I made to purify the water and pump it about 80 feet to the top of the field into a 500 gallon tank, from there its gravity fed to the house.
Our previous supply came from the farm and was collected from springs but not at all good quality, had mine tested and its fine, apart from being a bit acidic and containing a lot of iron.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Irrelevant now Peter that the reveal has been done, but I was in the process of typing this!
Well Peter.....literally![]()
Being a conscientious student of POTD and its archives I suspect that you may have...
"a well at the bottom of the field and a 500 gallon tank at the top so it has to lift it 25' from the bottom of the well and then pump it another 60" or so to the top of the field, then gravity fed to the house. Once the tank is full it will last 4 or 5 days or in an emergency even more. "
and the "control room" is the paraphernalia associated with it!
