That picture of the Chinese Paddy Terraces looks almost unreal... Like a computer generated image. Amazing...

Re: Picture(s) of the day
I've just gone through these posts for the first time, some good photos but I noted towards the top someone asked "Did BSA conquer the USA"
That reminded me of the US civil war battlefields museum at Gettysburg, there's a notice on the wall saying that the two opposing sides tried to buy all the weapons output from Birmingham Small Arms, each trying to stop the other getting hold of the BSA guns, BSA just kept increasing the production and supplied both sides, over fifty thousand were sold in all.

Just goes to show there's nothing new in this world...Gibbo2286 wrote: That reminded me of the US civil war battlefields museum at Gettysburg, there's a notice on the wall saying that the two opposing sides tried to buy all the weapons output from Birmingham Small Arms, each trying to stop the other getting hold of the BSA guns, BSA just kept increasing the production and supplied both sides, over fifty thousand were sold in all.
Such practices are thought to be a modern thing but this just goes to show otherwise!
