An equally rare spot for me in this evening's pub car park - a non catering version!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

I remember that one well... I know its current owner and last I heard (at last year's Chevrons Rally), the gearbox had died

I sold that one in 2010 IIRC. The transmission was failing then, so I sold it cheaply (informing the purchaser of the symptoms), although it was otherwise a very good car.CitroJim wrote: 02 Jul 2025, 05:57I remember that one well... And even back then we thought the gearbox was on the verge of failing - it carried on for a lot longer than ever we expected it to!xantia_v6 wrote: 02 Jul 2025, 07:28I sold that one in 2010 IIRC. Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I think that the car was fairly low mileage when I had it, but it had already had a second-hand transmission of unknown mileage fitted to it.

Having a lovely quiet pint until this Indian turned up!
I will say the air ride suspension sounded amazing when it lowered to allow the 5'8" biker off.Ryan

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Not easy to see due to the camouflage colours but next door's owl.
Too idle to get the tele lens from downstairs.
Heard some odd noises a few minutes ago and it was a pair of blackbirds annoying the Harris hawk he has there. That was out with the owl (yesterday evening) but couldn't get a shot of it.
The black birds kept flying past the aviary only inches away from it and it was desperately trying to get at them. Then they sat a few feet away singing to it.
