The new sensor was >£600 from the dealer. Looking for a cheaper alternative.
Gosh Steve  That's expensive! What sensor is it?

I was always under the impression a lit EML was an automatic MoT fail. I suppose if all is good emissions-wise and it's not indicating anything serious it's irrelevant really whether it's lit or not.

Meanwhile, a very autumnal scene from this morning's run :D

Lambda sensor Jim.
Everything else was OK (or at least, after they chucked £500 worth of parts at it)
Goes OK but can seem a bit under powered at times, is a bit thirsty too.
Supposedly 155 BHP but I'm not convinced. The C5 2.0 HDi at 110 was more lively.

Gosh Steve, that's an outrageous price for a Lambda sensor... It must be made of some very exotic materials 🤔

A harbinger of winter - autumn leaf-fall and hedge clipping has once again exposed a trig. point on one of my regular cycling routes.

It spends late spring and all of summer completely invisible, hidden behind lush foliage...

Nice picture Jim, apart from the fact that the "flush bracket" number is not clear. Looks like...

That's the one Neil, absolutely spot-on ;) :D

I deliberately did not show the Flush Bracket as I thought you like to identify it from other clues!

The road it's on is currently closed due to severe damage during the recent floods and requiring extensive resurfacing...

Even for a bike, the closed bit was impassable so my planned loop ride became an out and back...

I did come across a few others Harrold Park Farm (S6836) and Lavendon Wood (S6835) but they looked to be a bit "off-road", and another a little more roadside and similarly hidden for most of the year Chellington (S6837) but the last digit obviously wasn't a "7"

You should dig it out and put it somewhere more prominent where it can be seen easily.
A garden ornament for you perhaps?

The Trig. Baggers would go ballistic if I did that Steve, They're quite a sensitive bunch and get very upset by trigs being misappropriated. But yes, I'd love one in my garden :D

You can get model ones...
