A sunny Salcey Forest this morning
The sunshine belies how chilly it was...
After a good run there, I went for a brisk bike ride. Can't waste days like these

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
During my run this morning across a still quite soggy Bury Field
I love how my shadow appears on the bush on the other side of the water!
This part is normally dry and was the start of old railway cutting earthworks for a planned railway between Paggers and Olney that never happened due to the almost insurmountable natural barriers between the two towns..
To this day it still prevents Olney being bypassed and it remains a picturesque bottleneck on the A509...

If I'd paid an entry fee to run a 10k and turned up to see that course I'd demand my money back!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

It was even better in places Mick

Mud is like Marmite to runners... Either loved or hated - no inbetween at all...
Did you not love mud in your rallying days Mick?

No I can't say I did, the hindrance to vision far outweighed the ease of cornering, not to mention the grief of cleaning it off. No pressure washer in those days!
