I can see it now. You are in town doing some shopping when the washing machine develops a major leak and it comes flooding out of your phone!mickthemaverick wrote: 15 Oct 2023, 18:48 It looks like it does Eric!!:

Super picture Matt, nice composition. The striking orange sky also extends to Northumberland...UFO hasn't arrived as yet

Sorry, it's very windy in Leyland tonight (that's the weather, not my constitution!) Think it's blown all our squirrels away much like Myglaren's picture.
On your name that car competition, I'm going for Porsche Cayenne, first generation. A vehicle I'd say was an excellent...

Seems plausible Matt, I have no idea what it is, it just inadvertently photobombed my picture of the deerMattBLancs wrote: 18 Oct 2023, 20:37 Sorry, it's very windy in Leyland tonight (that's the weather, not my constitution!) Think it's blown all our squirrels away much like Myglaren's picture.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Another POTD baling out required. Camera battery ran out, had it not POTD may have had a raft of Eider Ducks at Blyth Quayside through the rain soaked windscreen of the BB Micra.
So its one of those random trawls of the POTD archives 734 pages on the thread using random.org I have selected one of those pages and will use my own bias to bring one of the images forward.
Selected...an old one-Page 77 from April 2017 ( Page 1 being the first page and 734 being the latest page).
Page 77 starts here (viewtopic.php?p=529258#p529258) if you want to revisit it, covers Wojtek the Bear and a bit of the far north of Scotland but I have selected the only Falcon original from POTD page 77, Saltburn-by-the-Sea Station.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Jim is looking after the POTD aspect of our trip but to keep it ticking over here is one pic that I used my phone for today, merely to show the weather to SWMBO

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Not pictures taken today, but on the theme of railway stations, here's a selection of railway station roof structures

That's nice, bit of a poke and the goods are produced. Well done Mick and Matt
Yellow weather warnings and flooding expected, overnight and tomorrow in Northumberland so you have definitely headed in the right direction with the Southern Saunter Mick.
Excellent set of photos Matt not just for the photography but for the unusual subject matter...right up my street

Delighted to see Sian at the RHDR yesterday and so was my Sian when I sent her the picture!
The locomotive that took us to Dungeness...
