The start of the natural drainage system of burns/streams/and rivers. Refreshing after watching Paul Whitehouse's documentary "Our Troubled Rivers" last night.

Been a bit of a Damson fest last 2 days. little walk along the old railway path at Newton St Boswells revealed a bumper crop of plump little damsons, and a carpet of them on the floor.

Celebrations containers...

Too useful to ever throw out...certainly came in handy here...
...and there's another one storing odd bits of electrical stuff with the remnants of a cutlery set.
