Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

And I now have sheer luxury in my bathroom

Window and door installation will commence very soon so by the end of summer I'll be as snug as a bug in a rug...
Then kitchen and compete redecoration and new carpets and furnishings.
The need to get my house cleared of all excess stuff is now getting very nigh... A skip will be on order next week. I'll need a big one. It'll have half a Xantia in in it if my spares stash is not soon collected

A lot of old radio and electronics stuff will be in there too...

Young Swallow. With the minimum of training and just a few meals of insects, by the end of the summer (NH) this little fellow will have flown to South Africa. Remarkable!

Birds are truly incredible creatures Neil
Even the humble chicken - they have the most amazing personalities... Bird-brained they are not.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I have been harvesting seeds for next year. Polyanthus, Foxglove, Lavatera, half a dozen different types of poppy, Wallflowers, Morning Glory and more.
I freeze them overnight, plopped the fresh ones in the freezer and retrieved yesterday's batch.
They are warmed and dried then stored in a variety of containers, mostly coffee jars, 10ml and 50ml test tubes.
Cleverly tipped these lavatera seeds into the polyanthus tube, had to tip the lot out and extract the lavatera seeds one by one with a pair of tweezers.
But, that wasn't all. I had initially tipped the polyanthus seeds in among the foxglove seeds, which are like dust. Fortunately a tea strainer separated them fairly well.
There are seeds all over the place.

Needs some explanation.

POTD Model Railway Locomotive Fixing Club
Fixed one of these today. Very satisfying. It's a Lima Model from Italy 00 Guage Class 33 D6524.
Method...find youtube video, take to bits, clean, spray with contact cleaner, reassemble, have it placed on track, turn the knob of the controller, and hey presto and it whizzes round the track. Welcome and rewarding noises of approval from the younger generation, and also very satisfying in its own right!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Great work Neil
On an allied subject, I'm following a railway modeller, Harold Road, on Facebook who specialises in 'weathering' his rolling stock. Fascinating stuff and well worth a look. He can make a model locomotive look very realistically tired and work-worn...

In the absence of any other contributions today I thought it might be time to see how our garden is getting on:
