Red car plague Jim, a good cut and polish usually brings back the shine.

I was pondering what a good wash and cut/polish might do Eric and going by the bit of the wing that looks like it's been done - perhaps as an experiment - it'll come up very nicely...

Despite looks, the car is in good condition...

...and very welcome they are too James. POTD loses all credibility if there isn't at least one POTD every day. Stimulates comment...like this from me...

"Nice, Reading has Red Wheelie Bins for Recycling, Nothumberland's are Blue"

Granted not my finest observation, but the first thing I noticed on your picture!

Reading has three different colours of wheelie bins. Grey are for general waste, and are collected fortnightly, red are for recycling, and are collected also collected fortnightly, on the 'opposite' week, green are for garden waste, and are collected 'whenever', while small black bins (without wheels) are kitchen waste, and are collected weekly.

It's that time of year again...... well, actually, I think it's a little early this year

The swans, Bryant and May's, latest brood presented themselves for inspection today so I grabbed a photo. There were originally 10 of them, but we're down to 8 now :( One of them seems ever keen to hitch a ride and not get its feet wet :-D

Appropriately enough, the running event was called the 'Bluebell Challenge'. I'm told the bluebells this year are not quite as spectacular as usual due to the cold, late and wet spring...

See my blog for something truly amazing that happened during the event ;) :D Something very special indeed...
