And you can make an incinerator from the drum! :)

I've ben wondering how to 'repurpose' a hand blender. The motor bit is OK but the bearings for the knife/impeller are stuck.

Sadly the metal is too thin for an incinerator Steve, I thought about a hamster gymnasium or maybe fit a crank and use it as a compost mixer, but I suspect it will go to the local recycling centre if SWMBO gets fed up with it on the patio awaiting my attention. The motor and bits I've secreted away but no room for the drum!!

As to your hand blender post up a picture and maybe you'll get some suggestions!! :-D

Washing machine drums make quite effective coarse filters if you need to pump out flooded areas :)

Good thinking bobins, I have been toying with a leaf/debris catcher in my subterranean pond where the waterfall flows in, to keep the rest of the pond clear, that may be a use which even SWMBO will approve of! :)

No she doesn't do the cleaning, another of my chores, but she does get irritated when the waterflow is insufficient for the waterfall to twinkle and the cause is usually a partially blocked pump inlet! :-D

Definitely my picture of the day.

You may see the vehicles on a forthcoming episode of a well known motoring programme, but the star of the show is Logan of course!

I see one of the dog cops on tv calls his dog a Land shark.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.
