When you have it wound out then off boost its fuelling less and you get the full LDA travel

will wind it out a little tomorrow afternoon then as she is a little smokey under load round town atm ... presume I can take the star wheel down further and wind out the smoke screw until such a point is reached that it won't smoke but with any more it would ( if you get my drift there?) . Still trying to get brave enough to do the timing belt and then remove the pump armour and set the max fuelling! Any ideas as to how short you can make the actuator without issues in running or killing the turbo? I have gone 3 full turns .... but I want more lol

It is a case of adjusting gently until you find the middle ground between power and smoke. Mines a bit hazy if i hang just below the turbo spooling but no smoke on boost!

Take it you have the garret turbo then? Mines a KKK so the wastegate is on an allen bolt as opposed to a rod!

yep I have the garrett turbo, really easy to adjust apart from that pesky c clip on the end of the actuator to release the arm (I have lost 3 now). I just don't want to blow up the turbo so I guess the same as anything else just adjust in small amounts at a time really .. I have heard of people making huge boost figures but would be afraid of damaging something if I did it to that extent
