The Belmont was to the Astra as the Orion was to the Escort! Mine looked like this:
Ford Orion Ghia 1.6
Ford Orion Ghia 1.6
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I spotted a lovely Rover P4 on the A329M coming into Reading this afternoon.

Erm, no. The bodywork was too tidy (although I did, for a few moments, wonder).

Zel popped round to pay me a visit the other day in his P4... It certainly has a very nice patina about it, well befitting a 60 year old car...

The engine is a lovely thing and runs very sweetly... Truly like a Swiss watch :)

He was very pleased with the keyboard James :D

I saw a Morris Minor yesterday - in 2 tone 2CV Dolly 'Rhubarb & Custard' colours (well actually Custard and Rhubarb, since the body was red and the wings cream!). Very striking!

Ford Prefect May 1956, you can just about see the defining differential feature between an Anglia and a Prefect of that period down the right-hand side.

My recollection of the early 100E was the three speed gearbox which had a huge gap between second and third ratios, you had to scream the engine in second then move up to third when there was hardly enough torque for it.
I suspect Ford were just looking to get a better top speed.

I was working near Reigate this afternoon when this VW Beetle stopped to fill up. It is a 1962 model, and has not had any work done (other than the usual maintenance).
