I saw a Jaguar XK8 Coupe in Consett the other day without realising what I was looking at.

Yes quite liked that
Matthewsons have one up for sale in October

I like them too and they are pretty cheap at the moment, not to run though!! However it would have to be Brooklands Green for me with beige leather!! :-D
For whatever reason they do not seem to be highly regarded in the Jaguar club I used to be in, something to do with "they are better than the XJS but still not as good as an E Type!" :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

£5000-£6000 estimate.....liked Mathewsons description
A short drive across the road for photographing showed no major faults.
How reassuring....

This has found its way into Clearwell in recent days, seems to be used daily.
Not a very good photo, taken from my dash cam video.

Not seen one of those in the wild for ages Gibbo!

Yes it's a Wolseley 1500....................a puffed up version of the Morris 1000. :) Actually quite a nice car in its time.

...and a nice pair of Lucas P700 Tripods (or replicas as the case may be)

Now at random I put that search term in, and apparently if you add the phrase "original for e-type jaguar" to the sales particulars up comes a ridiculous asking price.......

Now of possible interest to our CitroJim and others who live nearby the Parish of Stony Stratford that very vehicle appeared on New Years Day 2019 at "Vintage Stony" quite a thing ..I do believe they have a traditional New Years Day thing and one in the summer.

https://vintagestony.co.uk/

So I guess our "Rover in Northumberland" today could be a resident of somewhere within a morning bike ride range of Chez Citrojim.

Rush Green over Shadow Green could be a contender...
