Been spotting a Citroen DS regularly, and even had the privilege of being overtaken by it today. Its either cream or a very subtle light yellow, think it was left hand drive. Super car, not in a concours d'elegance never being used way, but in an enjoy some good old fashioned "motoring for pleasure" and use it whenever you get the chance way.

CITROEN DS 21 1972 according to DVLA colour recorded as Cream.

Well if you catch Antiques Roadtrip, occasionally, there is a small amount of interest.

I've liked these for a while, even bid on a South African one.

^^^ Strangely the Blue car broke down and they replaced it with a Red One! Their classic car hire outfit must have 2 of them on their books!

Here's an on the street spot. A Mercedes 190 catching my eye surely not. Was it the unusual colour or its delightfully boxy shape I dont know but I got the camera out and snapped it.

This morning I saw a white Citroen AX Club on French plates (travelling along the Rose Kiln Lane). As I was driving I was unable to get a photo.

Might be unusual colour here, but not elsewhere. Looks like a German taxi

Yes I didnt know that, but looking up German Taxis wiki has this paragraph
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxicab_livery#Germany

"In Germany, taxicabs are beige, a look that was officially stipulated by law as Elfenbein a light ivory-color in 1971. In 2005 this legal restriction was lifted, but most taxicab drivers associations and companies still prefer the unified look and visibility of beige. Most taxicabs in Germany are Mercedes-Benz limousines, predominantly of the E-Class series.
This little video shows a few examples, and lo and behold a couple of cars down the rank we have the french connection in beige too!

Following that little incident that occurred whilst riding my bike back in March, from which I'm now 99.5% recovered, I always ride with a camera running and I find it very useful for copping a few classic car 'spots' on my extensive two-wheeled perambulations :D

Quality is not magic but the camera does its interned job excellently.

Here's the best classic spot so far... A lovely yellow MK1 Escort Mexico :D
Lovely!
Lovely!
I have loads more interesting cars but nothing French yet except for a fuzzy 205. Please let me know if you'd like to see more of my bike cam captures ;)

The more posts, the more the forum flows, the more to comment on, and encourages others to do the same.

So in summary....yes please :-D .

PS surprisingly the simple thread I started a while ago "Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?" has mopped up 1300 replies and 31,000 views so a debut for your bike cam pictures there would be good. Milton Keynes should have a few knocking about.

That Escort Mexico is owned by a chap called Tim Sawyer who regularly competes in rallies. Finished 10th in the RAC Rally of the Tests in 2019 with a chap called Andrew Duerdin who has quite an interesting website and appears very busy in classic rallying circles. I'll nick one of the pics of a particularly nice yellow Volvo PV544 in the snow from his "Motoring year 2019" as an illustration.

Neil, thanks ever so much for the background :) That's excellent! Wonder what he was doing near Buckingham on Sunday?

I guess he's a resident around those parts Jim. The car has appeared at quite a few classic shows in the area, in particular the normal annual bank holiday monday event at The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton (cancelled this year unfortunately)
Looks like it attracts some excellent vehicles

I flicked though a couple of galleries on Flickr of the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's classic car shows and picked out these half dozen of interest. Not intended to be a whatsthisthen? but if you dont know what they all are reasonably easy to flick trough the same galleries as me and pick them out.
