I think the Jaguar E Types are having a quick run while the weather remains nice. Yesterday I saw a Primrose Yellow E Type in Basingstoke (heading the wrong way, so I could not get the reg), and today, in Marlow, I saw a pale cream E Type, reg BJH 3K.

Not a car - but a REAL London bus, an RT - on the Totnes road, just outside Collaton St Mary! I know there's at least one Routemaster down here but an RT was a real surprise AND it was displaying a 108 destination blind which is still a local route near where I am in London.

I was reading up on the ID featured in this thread when I came across this video which I think some may find interesting:

Do you need to do a bit of editing James? It is a 69 of course, which coincidentally was the year when Vincenzo's firm was swallowed up by the Fabbrica Italiana di Automobili Torino :-D

OK, I give up. It looked like Fiat, but I assume (with that building) it is, in fact, a Lancia

Si, si, si - the clue's in the big Lancia badge!

Last w/e in a car park just above Hay Tor (on Dartmoor) probably a dozen assorted Jensen Interceptors - presumably some owners club event. Weather was dreadful, bet the FF owners were laughing.

OK, not a classic car, but I have to post up what I saw yesterday late morning as I was on the M25 near to J14. An early Boeing 747. OK, nothing special about that, except it was in the BOAC livery!

All to do with the centenary of British Airways and their forerunners. 1919-2019
https://www.flightglobal.com/news/artic ... ce-455845/

Other 747-400s are expected to be painted in earlier British Airways schemes such as the blue/grey "Landor" colours of the 1980s and the Negus & Negus-designed red, white and blue "Union Jack" scheme introduced in 1973 when BA was formed in its current guise. An Airbus A319 is also believed to be set for a makeover, into the 1960s colours of BEA.

OK, so it wasn't an early 747, but I didn't know that! It was the livery that fooled me!
