Interesting! Never knew that... Thanks Van :)

Never fear, Jim, I am ever increasingly aware of how much more thankful I should be, not only for reasonable recall but all health related matters. For all that I'm not fit enough to exercise

Nobody is when they first start on a regime of exercise Van but fitness soon comes ;) On the first day a run of 1Km will almost kill you and then a few months later a 5Km run will be like a gentle stroll to the shops and you'll be looking to run your first marathon ;)

Saw a lovely Gilburn Invader yesterday 8-) No photo as I was riding my bike at the time...

Yes, it is indeed...

I have to confess to a very big soft-spot for the TVR... Any TVR...

That is a 1999 TVR CHIMAERA 400 with a 4 litre version of the Rove v8 according to the sales blurb.

I wouldn't mind a Bowler Wildcat (if I could afford all the costs), as, amongst other things, they have a TVR tuned engine. Really 'dirty' engine sound, and the Wildcat was designed for rallying (such as the Paris Dakkar rally).

Thanks Neil, I never looked at the sales blurb in the car as I was with a cycling pal at the time and she and I were keen to press on... We in fact went out of our way to go back to the OSO after our club ride especially so I could take a couple of pictures :) No way did I want to delay her return home :)

See, I really am a gentleman!!!

Something a bit different at Mathewsons - a 21 year old 'classic' Nissan Micra.
Micra - Matthewsons, fair use.
