Not sure if its similar to the 206 where the spring extends further than the moon (basically, needs clamping to remove AND refit) or if its conventional where you can get away with levering the wishbone down and knocking the hub off the bottom of the strut. Give me 5 mins and i'll have a look!

With regards to compressors, see if theres a shop near you that rents them out? I borrowed a set for £10 that were far and away better than the cheap ones i bought beforehand. After that its fairly simple stuff, aslong as you slacken the topnut off a smidge before removing the strut from the car as otherwise its a mare undoing it on the floor!
