Addo from the Classic Car summer season what have you spotted? thread

Speaking of Kombis, I saw a split window crew cab bakky yesterday. That's fairly rare. It was a roughie
This led me to the VW Split Screen Crew Cab Club....and a few nice pictures...

this looks fun!

For devotees of random links like me there's an interesting link of connection between this

and the tangental sidetrack following VertVega's spot of a PolskiFiat 126 in Warsaw on the "Classic Car Summer season-what have you spotted?" thread

Specifically the beer wagon

I spotted a 1965 Commer camper yesterday somewhere between here and Somerset... May have been the green one already featured...

On my drive at the moment. A UK build camper on a Fiat 242 chassis (same as the Citroën C35). Think it's called Hilton

I saw a variation of this on the A34 on Saturday.. The front-half of a Beetle converted into a trailer and towed by a VW Type 2 Capmpervan. Both were in matching colours...

It was a bit bizarre to follow a Beetle apparently going at 60mph in reverse... The conversion had been very cleverly done to hide the mandatory lights in the headlights and make them almost invisible except when they lit up...
