Had mine done under warranty. They fitted the new one from the top, but said it was very tight for space.

Sometimes the change doesn't work.

The proper workshop procedure says the bumper needs to come off, but the condensor replacement procedure for mine (2.0Hdi) and yours are identical, and I didn't need to touch the bumper on mine.
To get the cowl off - with a small screwdriver, lift the centre section of the plastic clips/plugs at either end of the cowl, the plastic plugs should then lift out. Unscrew anything else that's holding it in.
Everything else should be fairly straight forward - undo this / shift that / etc. You'll need to unclip the bonnet release cable at the catch end. Expect to lose some skin off your knuckles as the condensor and radiator fins are sharp and it's tight for space :(
There should be no need to touch the fans at all.

I didn't need to drain or remove my radiator when I did mine - I just moved it towards the engine as far as I could. Yours may be different though, being a 2.2Hdi

Where is a good place to get the pipe (or get it repaired if it's cheap enough)?

A cheaper way of finding the leak is to pressurise the system with compressed air then spray water with detergent over the system, you should see bubbles.
