Hi Peter, if its flattening those batteries it sounds like you need a new key. I would study it well to make sure no corrosion anywhere and to check if the circuit board is in good shape, a new one can be coded for your car by someone who has PP2000 near you or possibly a good key shop. If you get a new one make sure so move the small black chip over too, that's critical for making the car start!
Sounds like an easy fix... Both if its just corosion or the tranmitter board.. I have a PP2000 so that is not a problem... :-) Thanks...
