80Kg is the limit for the rails, the ramps are 55kg each....no worries with 3 scaffolding planks across the rails and no "lift" (hollow) or weight up high.

2 ratchet straps (4000kg) to strap them to the planks, a ratchet strap for each plank to the rail.

It's not the aspect of putting 110kg on an 80kg rated roof that concerns me, it's the road shocks - hit a pothole, for example - and you risk damaging the support areas for the roof rails.

20kg ?...really

add the odd 20kg, spread it over 3x30cm wide planks to spread the load over 6 contact points via roof rails.........and I thought Poms worried |:)

another worry/thought just crossed my mine,
what will the overhang at the rear end be on these ramps, as you will have an Activa on a trailer in tow,

just imagine the traffic report on the motorway

seesaw'ing ramp-nt C5 X7 Activieing around on off the on off ramp/s!!!!! :yikes: :twisted: :wink:

Malcolm, having thought about it, I would be pushed to put them on the trailer with the Activa, so I am off their tomorrow or very early Saturday......cheers mate.

Back with them now.......my my my they are heavy. WAY WAY more than they told me.....glad I switched to a flatbed :)

RENT a RAMP is now open :)

They do not take up space if you stack them....well worth it
