aah now

i were thinking you had similar rear arms to the standard CS car, but no it is more like the 406

they can supply you most of the bushes separately, you just need the right ammo/part No.'s to aim at them
if you are able/would like to go this route to replace bush's only,

here is a screen shot of your cars rear suspenders

https://www.dropbox.com/s/qng0h3bcqo1m6 ... p.png?dl=0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

there are several bushes that could cause a clonking noise, so i think unless someone on here has had similar with this rear end set up ,
i think it will be down to some poking/prodding and levering to find the culprit

Sounds like there may be metal to metal contact and a quick check (having noted the warnings of getting under a Citroen) that the rear arm is not hitting the under side of the sub frame. There should be a "bump stop" fitted into the sub frame and these can go AWOL.

They cost less than £10 per side from Citroen and can be fitted by locating and pushing into the locating hole in the sub frame which is above the suspension arm.

Hope that helps.

Andy.
If it can happen it will.

Not any help at all, but I was hoping this thread would slip off the first forum page to give me a break. I can't look at the topic header without bursting out laughing. Surprised nobody has mentioned it so far. :rofl2:

I think that was the Daily Mail wasn't it? However, that pales into insignificance alongside John Inverdale's recent faux-pas on live radio... I'll post it on the amusing joke thread though, not here..

typical the bush you require is the one they don't list separately, i see what you mean about rip off price

Part Number Description Quantity Price excl. VAT Price incl. VAT Total incl. VAT Selection
5175CN TRAILING ARM 165.82 GBP 198.98 GBP 198.98 GBP

5175CP TRAILING ARM 165.82 GBP 198.98 GBP 198.98 GBP

i think you need to remove and measure one of those bushes, then do a gooooogly search with the dimensions, there must be a bush out there of the same dimensions,

aim those part No.'s at your local motor factors

why should it cost $ 1200 for at the very most ( i would think ) a couple of hours labour = $600 per hour  :? :yikes: :teabag: :missile: :missile:  #-o ,

not near Shoeberryness im in East Sussex,

i will ask GSF if and how much they can do the arms for though,

maybe you should contact Addo ( Adam ) as he is in Oz ( the Wizard of Oz :-D  )

i believe he has had much-us dealings with bushes :eye: :eye:
