Do I detect a slight smirk on the face of that "bacon buster" in the Golf?

Though really, it wasn't brown. It was bronze.

That I thought suited the car very well. ...Not that I really cared what it looked like outside, given how comfortable it was inside!
Well its not a Monaco, its a Baccara in black cherry and up for sale on e-bay at the moment with a pretty comprehensive description

Nice Thames van on the One Show tonight

Image

In 1958 Ford put together this little film as a promotion for the Thames. Slightly annoying tune but really sold the benefits to me and if you could produce them today for under £10,000 I would be first in the queue :!:

And here's one on CarandClassic for £9,500

That 25 is lovely. Have to admit though that I prefer the look of the Mk I cars, and thought the leather padding in the Monaco looked better than the wood.

...if I had the space and money though, I'd have that in a heartbeat!

*goes off to check Lotto numbers...*

I've had two R25's both manual V6 with the 2.5 turbo engine, very nice cars indeed.

I thought Cabana was a spicy sausage? Barry Manilow sang about the all-beef version "Kosher, kosher cabana"...

That said, it looks like a plus-sized Mehari!

Well, has a picture of a sausage ever been posted up on the FCF?

Might as well be now. I give you a platter of Kabanos
