Isn't that the car type that could be dressed to look like Noddy's car?

I'm not sure if this offering will be for this thread or if it may get up to the Over10k thread but I am posting it here as it is the only GM car that I ever wanted to own. I never did and I won't be now but it's nice to have the memory :-D

Agree they are a nice car. Think lacking a bit of the shove (and the V6 noises) you could have in a Capri - Manta just four cylinder I think and was it the 2.3 that was the most powerful as standard?

Here's HubNut's review of one with more go than standard:

I liked the four headlamp conversion that was available for the Manta. It really enhanced the look of the vehicle. It wasn't cheap IIRC!

This is not really a classic but maybe it will become a modern classic in due course. However I couldn't help but post it as I really think it's an oddball!! A Japanese gentleman's car doesn't sound right to me! :-D

'Camper Conversion'. From a horse box presumably

The interior looks lovely but the exterior hurts my eyeballs  A respray in white might improve it ;)

Yes I have to agree there Jim, I think it could be improved with a more alluring livery but it's not the easiest body to beautify!! :-D

Just for you Jim, to compensate for yesterday's inglorious paintwork, I doubt anyone else could live with the interior!! :-D

If it had a toilet I'd go for it & bring her back where she belongs.
Toilet? Yeah, necessary when you you get to my age & don't fancy having to piddle dehors at some ungodly hour.

Yep, age is very unkind in that respect Vic

Back in the day, we used to have a toilet tent to go with our little caravan... That would do the job perhaps?
