Mathewsons have a few coming up for auction next week that are suitable for the 'Under £10k', and a few in the 'Over £10k'.

They seem to have several hot Metros available, here's one for starters -

Current Speedometer Reading: 48000
Year of Manufacture: 1988
Date First Registered: 01/08/1988
MOT Expiry Date: 16/07/2025

https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/auction/lo ... 6&pn=8&g=1

And a Peugeot 309 GTi for not much money....

Estimate £500 - £750

Wow! Identical to my Turbo Metro except mine was on a D Plate... Wish I still had it, along with my 205GTi

Apart from my AXs, my all-time favourite and most loved cars...

That is amazing and quite shocking for what in my eyes is one very desirable car... I'd have thought it would have been at least double by now...

Be interesting to see both what the reserve is and what it finally makes... At this rate I can't see it making the reserve...

Strange...

I can only assume that the CAT C listing is the damaging factor! :-D

You don't see these around at all so a possible future gem. I liked them in the 70s for the smooth ride and comfortable seats: :-D

That car went cheap!!!!!!!!!! It's surprising today that so many cars were crushed because of a Cat C superficial damage because new parts were more expensive than the cars worth. I might need to open a scrapyard.....

It's a difficult one... On balance I'll go for the Midget... Massive fun and free VED - for now... And it's yellow ;)
