This is getting confusing ! Are you referring to the gudgeon or the 4CV Gibbo? :)

Renault Reborn in Louth Lincolnshire featured on Todays County in the Spotlight on Lincolnshire's day. From first hand, (well second-hand knowledge really its owned by a friend of mine), they totally transformed this very early Renault 760 from a hugely unpromising rusty heap under a tarp to a thing of beauty.

Renault Reborn
I know this restoration well, having seen it in its original state under the tarp at a friends house for a good number of years before he decided to get it restored :-D

I had a browse though their catalogue this morning, and also of the various other upcomings Brightwells, Matthewsons, H&H, and SWVA at Poole.

Definitely the nearest Classic Car Auction to me so I often give their catalogue a peruse, without actually going down and having a look round. The three push bikes took my eye. Might shove the picks up on the on your bike thread.

Matthewsons had a very nice Blue restored Rover 3500 which caught my eye, but the item which really caught my eye was this from SWVA

Someone fairly close has one of those in the process of a rebuild Mick, my paint man did all the panels a short while ago, the owner brought all the panels to him and he did them in his own workshop, never saw the actual car. (s**t that bonnets a big chunk. :-D )

There is an auction of automobilia, parts and at the moment 25 cars coming up which may be of interest to some members:

https://www.the-saleroom.com/en-gb/auct ... f23&page=4

However the actual auction has sparked an idea in my mind regarding the number of us with excess parts etc to clear. I wonder if an auction house would be willing to take on all our stuff and have a one off sale similar to the one above but fed entirely by FCF members? My idea would be for each contributer to get his stuff to the saleroom, ideally somewhere in the midlands, and then let the auctioneers do their job and take say a third of the income. Each contributer could colour code their stuff and the funds transferred after the auctioneer's deduction to bank accounts asscociated with each colour code? Thus we all get shot of the unwanted for two thirds of its market value rather than staying in our sheds/garages to be dealt with by our dependants!! If you think it's a goer, like this post and if we have enough I'll take the next step!! :-D
