Thanks for that Neil, some amazing cars and a few odd estimates, 3-5k for the Avantime for instance, love the M35 but picked this one out as something very special:

I love the drawings of Thierry Dubois , François Roussel and Jean Luc Delvaux of mainly that period of French cars in the ligne-clair style.

This is one of my favourites by Jean Luc Delvaux. It features a Simca Vedette Versailles the first generation before the tail fins sprouted for the second generation of the Simca Vedette, which included the Simca Vedette Chambord as in the one up for sale at Aguttes.

I notice it's got one of those James Bond stylee oil slick sprayers that causes the baddies in hot pursuit to crash their cars. Though I thought they were supposed to be fitted to the rear of the vehicle, not under the front
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

could be a real banana skin embarrassment that one! Or maybe it is some kind of self oil slicking device.

There are a fair number of interesting cars in the End of Month sale at Anglia Car Auctions. I've posted a couple so anyone else can have a browse and post up your favourites!! :-D

Well, both the P5 and the P6 are in truly appalling condition. The P5 is just rotting everywhere - even the speedo' has a rusty bezel! And as for fitting a Nissan 2.7 diesel (Nissan, for God's sake!), what was someone thinking? Think Nissan Patrol... Was initially hoping to see a PSA 2.7 V6 in there.

The VDP SD1 looks nice, if you like that sort of colour, with an engine bay that has obviously been looked after. The late SD1's were screwed together and painted much better than the early (1977-) ones, especially in VDP and Vitesse trim. The auto' box blunts performance badly, though; far better with the V8 is the SD1 5-speed manual.

I would love to have a CX, preferably a Prestige.
They scare the hell out of me though.
A beautiful and rather marvellous car though. Proper spaceship.

Plenty room for the wicker picnic basket, chairs and tartan rug, but I would have to ration our days out having to pull in at the Petrol Station to fill that one up :-D
