I have to admit I did not know of DKW, a gap in my motoring history, ( every day's a school day :) ), so I investigated and discovered it to be an interesting marque, you can read all about them thanks to wiki here. :)

Here's a car that will appeal to certain people, although I have a feeling that our PA Cresta fans may not be too impressed!! :-D

There is a bit of TR about the front and Facel Vega about the rear as well as Sunbeam Rapier about the side view. I actually like it.

Anyone fancy appearing on Bangers and Cash :?:

All you need to do is win the bid on this Morris 1800 at the Auction June 4th. As told in the Video if you agree, the film company will follow the car to its new owner, and the pick up by Mathewsons from the current owner has already been filmed. We had at a few including a 1966 one, and it looks a good car.
Est £4,500 to £5,500

If you are looking to avoid the Ultra Low Emission zone charges in London this would do the trick as historic Vehicles over 40 years old are exempt currently. (note: not exempt from the Congestion charge). However a few circuits of the ULEZ Zone with the noise, the smell, and the blue smoke of this 2 stroke might bring about new rules :-D

Up for auction today at Mathewsons some time much later today its Lot 301 and they are kicking off shortly with Lot 137

Not the Usual Rubbish

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

"Not the usual Rubbish" or maybe it is.. :?:

Aguttes upcoming Auction, described as "Automobiles de Collection, Neuilly-sur-Seine, France 20 June, 2021", has, unusually, a flood of low-priced vehicles from the stable of old French tat. :-D

So for anyone with the remotest flicker of interest in French Cars, apologies for the additional effort of having to click on a link, but the list has been pre-sorted according to estimate lowest to highest to make things easier, and the interesting bit peters out at about €5,000.

Extract what entertainment from it that you can on me.
