As you do and purely for fun I was wondering how much I could sell all the classic cars (Classic now that is) that I have owned had I not sold them in the normal run of things. I am going to put together a list of what I missed out on for publication in due course but to begin with I looked up the first classic I owned and got one hell of a shock!!:

The thread doesn't say it has to be a car! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Brightwells timed auction is closing one lot after another from 7pm. No auctioneer on the rostrum...just the clock ticking down on each lot.

Always liked the shape of these things. Major contrast in what these fetch at auction, and the demand for them, and Alfa's more modern offerings. This sold for £26.200

On the other hand there was this scraped to £2,800.

Where do the French classics stand as far as generating interest go. Lets see whats coming up
Here's a few Citroens.
Mick has posted up a BX estate coming up for sale at ACA 1/2 May currently with scanty details and duff photos, but that should be corrected in time for catalogue being finalised.

The green S2 XM above is a 2.1TD manual, from the reg.no.
VIN is a digit short.

There is a huge variety of Lots in next weekend's sale at Mathewsons including a couple of 2CV's and a DS but I picked out this C15 as a nice way of owning a simple citroen:

A red one! Hundreds in daily use here, but almost all in white or silver, on account of the sun.
Pretty much a 50% chance of the rural ones announcing themselves by the familiar grurkkk-grurkkk-grurkkk of the trailing arm bearings...
