Any of those Rollers qualify for zero road tax yet?

That one on a G plate (1969) will do Eric, and be MoT exempt now too I believe :)

The one in the video does, but any that are over 40 years old on a rolling basis on the 1st January are currently zero road tax. I guess that applies currently to vehicles before 1980, soon to change in January to vehicles made before 1st January 1981.

I thought Gordon Brown discontinued the rolling 40 year plan.

Interesting that you have to apply for an exemption and that cars used for hire, eg wedding cars, are not eligible! There is this Bentley, although not old enough, in tomorrows list, the very last lot!!: :)

XK8 looks nice - it all seems to have gone downhill for Jaguar after that.

My second daughter has a cabriolet version, 2L IIRC. Paid nowhere near that much even including the restoration she has had done.

Oh yes, that's one up on a Snipe. Glass division and all that sort of thing. They sold those at the Rootes garage in Sevenoaks where my wife worked. I would think that would make a bob or two. I was up having a look round Mathewsons in September last year.
